SPRAY DRIED INSTANT COFFEE

For the production of spray-dried soluble coffee: the coffee extract is dehydrated in a spray dryer where it is sprayed inside a hot air chamber, and in contact with hot air, causes the water to evaporate. At the end of the process, spray-dried coffee is obtained in the form of soluble powder.

FREEZE DRIED INSTANT COFFEE

Freeze-dried soluble coffee is the result of dehydration of the coffee product through a freeze-drying process.

 

This technology allows to eliminate the contained water through a freezing and sublimation process, preserving the natural aromatic properties of the coffee, resulting in a remarkably higher quality and incomparable taste product.

AGGLOMERATED INSTANT COFFEE

Based on spray dried instant coffee, there is an agglomeration process followed to achieve the best quality agglomerated instant coffee.

 

Through a specially designed nozzle, powder, steam and an agglomeration solution are atomized against a rotating cylinder. Through the appropriate speed and pressure, we obtain the desirable grain size and mechanical resistance of the product.

Mardos Aljube has two types of Decaffeinated instant coffee: agglomerated and freeze dried.

We also have two types of decaffeination processes: CO2 and methylene chloride.
